Spotlight
Member of the Month
Barbara Carson
of Alabaster, Alabama

Barbara Carson of Alabaster has been
involved with the Arabian horse for many years. She has a true and strong
love and dedication to the Arabian breed. She is a fine advocate and strong promoter
of the Arabian horse.
Barbara served as the AAHA membership
chairman for several years. In that time she did a fantastic job developing
membership welcome packets for new comers to our club, organized
membership drives, organized our first representation as a club at the
Alabama Horse Council's Annual Horse Fair. Barbara worked hard to set up a
fantastic booth complete with story boards, picture boards, AHA pamphlets,
magazines and a fantastic display promoting the
Arabian horse and the Alabama Arabian Horse Association.

Barbara has shown Halter, Hunter
Pleasure, Country English Pleasure and Native Costume in community shows,
Saturday shows, Class A and Regional shows and on a National level for many years.

Barbara enjoys taking
lessons, trail riding, showing, riding in parades, doing flag presentations
and above all truly loves promoting the ARABIAN horse.

THANK YOU BARBARA
FOR YOUR LOVE AND DEDICATION TO THE ARABIAN HORSE.

You were beautiful and kind,
you were always willing, you brought love to many hearts, you taught many
lessons, you graced the pasture, barn or show ring with your elegance, grace
and beauty ... but most of all you brought love and joy to Barbara's life.
Thank You Blondie for
touching the lives of those around you.
Blondie, You will never be
forgotten, you were loved and you are truly missed.

The "In the Spotlight Member and Horse"
of the month is not voted on or elected. This is randomly chosen by the web
master. This is just an attempt by the web master to get folks to
check the web site more often to see just who is "In the Spotlight". So,
next time you see the web master at a meeting, horse show, clinic or
otherwise event, don't hide or be bashful - you just may be "In the
Spotlight!".
Thank you for visiting the site of
the Alabama Arabian Horse Association!
