I
Saw A Child
I
saw a child who couldn't walk.
Sit
on a horse, laugh and talk.
Then
ride it through a field of daisies
And
yet he could not walk unaided.
I
saw a child, no legs below,
Sit
on a horse, and make it go
Through woods of green
And
places he had never seen
To
sit and share
Except from a chair.
I
saw a child who could only crawl,
Mount a horse and sit up tall.
Put
it through degrees of paces
And
laugh at the wonder in our faces.
I
saw a child born to strife
Take
up the reins of life
And
that same child was heard to say,
Thank you God for showing me the way.

Gift Buckets were hand
painted and filled with great treats and gifts for each Special Equestrian
Athlete at the 2008 Alabama All Arabian Horse Show. These buckets were
sponsored by Tammy Cousins, Andi Murphy and the Alabama Arabian Horse
Association. Tammy hand painted and made each bucket with love, in honor of
her beloved Arabian horse RLF Backstage. Stage was Tammy's first Arabian
horse as well as her first Arabian show horse. When the time came she passed
Stage on to her niece, Andi, to love, ride, show and enjoy. The gift buckets
were presented to each athlete by Tammy Cousins and Andi Murphy along with
many of their family members that loved Stage too.
